THE COMPANY: Our client is building the next generation German online food ordering and lead generation platform. They are a high-paced, venture backed startup located in the heart of Berlin with an awesome team environment, feedback exchanged throughout the company from people who tend to be nice, humble, genuine, and fun.
They are seeking creative and motivated web developers to rapidly define and implement fun new features for their website. Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative, good at „getting things done“, and have experience working on production websites.
THE JOB & ITS REQUIREMENTS:
# Python + Django: We are using Python + Django in the backend. Experience with a comparable web MVC framework is okay, but experience with Python and willingness to learn Django is essential
# Expert knowledge in JavaScript (OOP, AJAX & DOM): a lot of our website’s experience comes to life with client-side Javascript, so extensive experience is a must-have
# (x)HTML & CSS skills. A good sense of web UI design and the ability to implement it across the various browsers is key
# A startup mentality: Every day, we out-hustle our competitors
# Excellent communication skills and experience working remotely over Skype/Email and Version
# Control Systems (such as Git)
# 2+ years working on professional web application projects and production experience
# Fluent/advanced English is required, German is a plus!
# Preferences: Deep Unix or Linux knowledge. Experience with Agile Programming methods and/or XP. Degree in computer science or similarPARAMETERS: The job is located in Berlin-Mitte, Start: asap.
